Just left shabu day. I was completely impressed and can't wait to go back for more. I was greeted quickly by not one but two employees who were courteous enough to let me know the kitchen was closing in under 30 minutes of my arrival. They were kind enough to seat me quickly bring us lots and lots of food and even give us a little extra meat. The staff was incredibly attentive, food was delicious, and I have no complaints about the price or quantity of food. Can't wait to bring more friends!
Our party of four visited Shabu Day on a cold Saturday in January after a shopping trip. We planned for shopping first and all-you-can-eat hot pot second because we knew our full bellies afterward would interfere with our clothing experience. XD This was my first time trying hot pot and I can't wait until I get to have it again. The price was reasonable, especially since it's all-you-can-eat. And we did eat all that we could. We ordered the beef broth and the Shabu Day house spicy broth. Both were full of flavor and delicious. It was good to have a non-spicy broth in order to cool off a bit in between bites, though the table electric burners were so effective at heating the broth, there was no cooling down. I'm not sure if this place is new or what, but they really, desperately need vents above each table pulling the steam outside of the building. Each table has a burner, which requires power to the table. There were cords on the floor, posing a potential tripping hazard. The steam was so abundant, condensation gathered on every window. It was hard to cool down inside the restaurant. Each of us was sweating at the table, this was exasperated by the heating element at the table. The experience of hot pot was neat, but could be improved.
My absolute favorite hot pot! I have been here several times and it never disappoints. Great price considering it is all you can eat.
Shabu Day: A Random Find That Turned Into My New Favorite Obsession Sometimes you stumble upon a place so good, you question if it’s a dream—or a divine intervention. That’s how I felt when I walked into Shabu Day. This wasn’t planned; I wasn’t on a mission for greatness. I was just hungry and Googled “food near me.” What I found was a treasure chest disguised as a hole-in-the-wall restaurant. The vibe? Unmatched. It’s the kind of spot that whispers, “You’re about to have the best meal of your life,” as you walk in. The atmosphere is cozy without being cramped, like your coolest friend’s living room (if they could cook food this good). The food? Incredible. For the price, it felt like I was robbing the place. Seriously, I was mentally preparing myself for a higher bill because it tasted too good to be this affordable. I’m still not sure how they pulled that off—maybe they’ve got some culinary wizard back there with a cauldron. I’ll be honest, Shabu Day feels like one of those places you accidentally tell everyone about, then regret it because now you can’t get a table. But I’m gonna risk it because this place deserves ALL the love. 10/10 would go again, and honestly, I’m already planning my next visit. If you haven’t been yet, stop reading this and get there. Trust me—future you will thank you.
We had a great hotpot experience at Shabu day. We got seated immediately upon arrival. I like how spacious and clean the place is. We ordered the beef broth and house spicy broth with brisket and premium beef sirloin. The beef broth was very flavorful. I also liked the dipping sauces here. Outstanding service and attentive staffs. I think the price is fair for AYCE.
Awesome place. They just opened recently, must-try. We got the Sukiyaki and Spicy broths, and got to try all the meats they had. The different beef cuts were amazing. You can also request additional sides as needed at no extra cost - we got more noodles and fish balls. The sauces they had were great as well. Would definitely recommend the Sukiyaki broth and House sauce. Hope to come back soon!
Great food!! Went there for the first time and love the food and how it is prepared. We got the spicy broth and the beef broth and both were delicious. The side sauces completed the flavor for each bite. I literally had ti break my chopsticks to stop eating.
We love Shabu Day! Already have gone multiple times and they’ve never done us wrong. That sukiyaki broth will always be one of my favorite things EVER. If they ever sold the broth by itself, I would buy gallons. Service is also always good. Attentive and accommodating. Will be back as always!
